Nestled in Melbourne’s most stunning blue-stoned paved laneway, adjacent to Peter Janson’s heritage listed Rutherglen House, Highlander is our city’s perfect infusion of style and class.

Highlander is an owner-operated venue that has been trading from our current premises for the past 7 years and our years of experience combined with our unique venue and friendly staff make us the ideal place for after work drinks a great night out or your next function - whatever the occasion may be!

Functions are our specialty and both the Main Room & the Luxuria Lounge, or the entire venue, are available for entertaining parties and functions of all sizes. Creating the ideal atmosphere for all your function needs, the two unique and intimate floors both offer fully licensed bars featuring high quality fully independent sound systems and projector capacity. From glamorous cocktail parties to corporate entertaining, birthday parties, product launches and presentations our flexible approach to catering will ensure your guests receive the very best of hospitality. Available for hire 7 days a week, we offer a variety of function options to suit everybody’s requirements.
