On the eleventh floor of this imposing Melbourne icon, completed in 1932, is the magnificent heritage-listed Manchester Unity Boardroom. Recently refurbished, this intact art deco space retains all the period charm including warm, polished maple wall panelling, ornamental plaster ceiling, and superb marble fireplace and surrounds.

But amidst all this period beauty the stand-alone feature is undoubtedly the original 6m x 1.8m Queensland maple and Indian rosewood boardroom table, topped with a single sheet of imported Parisian Lalique glass, and surrounded by 12 superbly crafted original leather armchairs.

The real party piece, however, is the Boardroom’s spacious terrace, located directly beneath the Manchester Unity tower, and offering breathtaking views of the city skyline.

The Boardroom complete with modern catering facilities, remote electric blinds, and up to 28 additional modern chairs, this truly unique entertainment venue represents the pinnacle of class and sophistication in Melbourne – and its clientele reflects that.
